ECOWAS Chiefs of Defence Staff will commence their meeting in Abuja to deliberate on the political situation in the Niger Republic.

The meeting follows the one-week ultimatum decision of ECOWAS at their Extraordinary Session held on Sunday, 30 July in Abuja.
